Hello, could someone helps with Occult rules:
At page 31, section "Channeling the Arcane" [1 Age book] listed 2 variants for source of channeling: Wizardy and Sorcery, but later in the Occult Section [page 33] described channeling for Occult. The phrase "Arcane caster(s)" used in "Channeling the Arcane" section, but does not in Occult section.
Arcane Wand [page 155, 1 Age book] : "Wands allow Arcane Casters to manipulate Arcane channeling die results ..."
Does it means that "Arcane caster(s)" means "Wizards and Sorcerers", and Occult casters cannot use Arcane Wand even they have channeling too? Or list in Channeling section is just a example, and every model that have Arcane Wand and uses channeling while cast power can use wand and manipulate channeling die?
Arcane refers to Sorcerers and Wizards so only they can channel in that manner. The Occult channel their Command Characteristic with the help of others.
Sorcerers and Wizards can also use wands if they have the ability Arcane Wands. There are relics for for Priest casters.
As for as items for the Occult there currently are none. We had tested some a while a back "Occult Idols and Relics", but they did not make the cut for the book from not being able to test them. They are still slated for a future update along with Alchemy and a few other things we would of liked to get into the 1st Age book. Occult Idols involved summoning and was something I look forward to testing. Occult Relics involved aiding the summoning.
Also again, sorry for the delay yesterday. Snow and Ice here has slowed us down.
