Some of the traits in the 1st age book are 1st age only. For some of these, this makes a lot of sense (wooden wagons for example). But others puzzle me a bit. Is the choice to make certain things "1st age only" based on flavour, or is it mechanical. The one example I'd like to throw out there is goblins. There is tons of goblins with guns and wacky inventions in popular media, in both modern and sci-fi settings (like for example the grots from 40k). However, in Genesys, goblins don't exist outside of the first age. Is this because their designated traits are thát strong in the future eras, or is it something else. This is pure curiosity regaring the design philosophy behind this. :)
