In the core rule book the Fey faction has listed under class options
Addition characteristics 15pts.
But in the 1st age book there's dosnt seem to be a class option to increase characteristics.
Maybe I'm not reading something properly.

You are reading it correctly. There looks to be an error on those two classes with that Class Option.
I will put that into the Errata section.
