I almost feel bad spamming questions but hey, I have them. Anyway, Classes as Mounts. The keyword mount says "When taken as a mount, use the rider's discipline to determine how many may be in a single squad" fair enough. Now I'm helping my room mate with his faction and he's making dinosaur riding gnomes. His dino mounts are level 2 and his riders are level 1. Since you normally take less level 2's then 1's I'm assuming that the mount trait over rides it IF you are taking them as mounts. So at conflict size Battle (750-1500) where you can only have level 2 classes at discipline x1, since you are taking them as mounts you get them as discipline 2x from the level 1s. Easier to read clarification: Gnomes, discipline 4. Dino mounts, discipline 2. At Conflict Battle size, the Dino's would be squad size 2 BUT if taken as mounts they would be at squad size 8 (with riders) correct?

Which would make the mount trait OP.
Normal equipment mounts disappear when the rider is slain.
The mount trait on a class means that the mount class would stay in play even if the rider dies.
In a encounter lvl game the lvl 1 let's say are a squad of 4
Your allowed to bring 1 lvl 2 unit
The way your think about it would mean that even if the mount class counted towards the squad that's still 1 more lvl 2 unit brought while your oppent likely can only bring 1 lvl2
And even if you manged to kill the rider the lvl 2s are still in play and are able to be mount by other models.
