am I allowed to make different classes outa my classes? If they all have access to the same traits and are built off each other do Advanced weapons need to have the same advanced property for other class levels or can I give squads/different levels their own advanced abilities?
like do I need to do,
-Improved Melee Weapons (Armory): Advanced Melee Weapons 1 7pts (Martial axes)
and then no other melee weapon can use that advanced weapon I figured I could pick and choose, because It dosnt stat that it actually only gives the Advanced trait to a single weapon/armour that must be picked when picking the trait. and since multiple armoury traits have a choice between two weapons that could be taken the choice on which weapon has the Advanced trait would depend on what weapon the squad is being fielded with. so as my Amon'Cor Dwarves have access to multiple equipment via faction and class traits.
can I make a Amon'Cor squad thats fielded with
-advanced rifle (property),
and another squad of Amon'Cor dwarves thats fielded with
-advanced Martial axes
Can I do this?
and so on?
or do I have to choose what my Amon'cor dwarves are going to use then every squad I field of that class would have to be the same
if there is no "or" then you get both.
ok what about the traits with multiple weapon options? martial axe, battle axe, do you need to select one? most traits that you need to make a choice with say "or",
This might be confusing ( questions about classes)

Your new classes that are built off another class will have the same traits and options as the previous class. However through progression you can always grow the class and even replace existing traits.
Essentially when you select the trait you are choosing your options if any with it. So when you are making a new class the traits come with it.
The same goes for something like Adaptive Advantage. If a class takes the trait and selects one of the two options (martial or ranged), that choice remains if you make a new class out of the existing class.
What I see people doing to set up more options with something like Advanced Weapons is to make a base class (but not taking the advanced weapons trait). Then when you create your new class you take the Advanced Weapon Trait for each new class to select your different options for that class.
