When taking a trait that gives the Insekt Order ability, it gives Bonus Traits X within a certain Order. Do you have to select these bonus traits upon creation of the species, or upon creation of your classes? Since the ability mentions it ignores the Max Class traits but doesnt say anything regarding the limitation on trait selection for your species.

Bonus traits don't count towards your trait selections. They are additional traits you get. This is a way some people get additional traits when creating their faction or classes, but it also adds up in points.
So when you take the trait either as a faction trait or a class trait, that is when you select the bonus trait.
