This trait has me somewhat stumped. The trait has a point cost of X. And when consulting the ability itself, it states that possessed are created from opposing factions by wounding an enemy model with the Soul Rupture spell. And from then on you may use that models class - altered a bit - in your army. What I believe I understand is: You wouldn't normally take the possessed trait for a class, it's applied to units you've possessed with Soul Rupture in previous games. What I'm not sure of is: What allows you to create Possessed with Soul Rupture? As the power itself only vaguely states that it ruptures the creatures soul "leaving it vulnerable to be possessed by demonic entities". Yet the power mentions nothing about the possessed ability/discipline. Am I able to create possessed by simply having a unit with Soul Rupture wound an enemy model. Or do I need some other trait that allows me to create Possessed with Soul Rupture?

A model with Possessed allows you to create classes from your enemies list.
This discipline is in the FAQ/Errata coming next week. It will clear it up considerably with an update to the Discipline.
As it is supposed to work currently-
So if you have Possessed Discipline and use Soul Rupture successfully in a game with a critical hit, it allows you to use the class with its appropriate bonuses in future games. Possessed Classes get additional bonuses and can be very powerful which is covered with the additional point cost.
Soul Rupture by itself is just a power doing what it says, but does not allow you to use the class from your opponent.
Having the Possessed Discipline allows for you to create possessed from your enemies list if you can successfully score a critical hit against a model from the class using Soul Rupture.
