In the rulebook under this ability the following is stated:
Cordyceps Infested Zombies gain a +1 Combat Situation
bonus for any to each enhancement type they gain.
I assume this is the reason why this ability would be interesting, but... I don't understand what it says... :' )
It looks like they can relatively easily gain combat situation bonuses. But what are 'enhancement types'? I've never seen this term in the book before. Does it work like the following?
I give my C.I.Z. class a martial sword and light armor.
This gives it both a +1 martial enhancement from the sword, and a +1 toughness enhancement from the armor.
Does this then mean the class always gains a +2 combat situation (because it's got 2 types of enhancement bonuses)?
Ok so I may of been mistaken in my first reply.
In the core rules book pg 16
Looks like as long as they get the advantage in the Combat situation no matter what type of advantage it is they add a +1 to the enhancement they receive for the CS
So using strength
If you had a strength of 4 and gained the +1 enhancement then you would apply the Cordycep zombies +1 for a +2 enhancement.
So you add up your CS like normal then add the +1 to it.
If the ability stats defensive or offensive then it only apply to that
If it dosnt it stat a type, apply it to both.
Enchantments are talked about in the core book under stacking.
I think it is the enhancement types for CS in particular, si the offensive/defensive enhancements used in combat (strenth, coordinated attacks, deflection, etc)
